Healing Hearts Ministry Al

A Ministry of Restoration and Healing of Life

On February 24, 2023 I was blessed with the opportunity to meet and minister to Ms. Betty Henderson.  She was from Decatur, Al.  Such a precious soul.  She was under the care of Hospice.  Her daughter Beverly invited me over to talk to her mother.  We talked about her faith in Jesus and that she had the assurance if she died she would go to heaven.  We also talked about some burdens she had on her heart that she needed peace about.  She shed some tears about those burdens that were weighing upon her heart and mind but Jesus is a burden bearer.  I anointed her with oil and went to the Father on her behalf and He gave her peace in her heart and in her spirit.  She said “I can feel you Jesus”.  I hugged her and kissed her and told her that Jesus loved her and I did too.  She told me before I left, Jan don’t forget about me.  I promised her that I wouldn’t and I didn’t.

I prayed for her everyday until I received the news that Ms. Betty had gone on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus March 27, 2023.

Yesterday,  April 10, 2025 several of us ladies from Healing Hearts Ministry Al and Grace House joined together in ministry at El Reposo Nursing Home in Florence Al. This is a beautiful facility that has 58 residents. Sandy Blackstock owner of Panoply Poodles brought three of her toy poodles to bring love and comfort to the residents as they truly enjoyed holding them petting these sweet babies.  Today also was their bingo day and if they won they received a play dollar bill each time to get a treat with.  After bingo Ms. Pat group provided snacks for the residents and staff and they said they were yummy and my group provided 58 blessing bags made especially for the residents along with some diabetic bags.  It was a blessing to show the love of Jesus and love on these sweet women and men.  God bless everyone who made a contribution and served today.  Not only did the activities director hugged us and thanked for coming out to spend time with them yesterday but the residents ALL THANKED US!
